Sparta Gourmet Organic Koroneiki EVOO 250ml — Cold-Pressed Greek Olive Oil, USDA Organic, Laconia
The Olive Oil That Changes What You Expect From Olive Oil
Most people have never tasted olive oil the way it's meant to taste. Not because good oil doesn't exist — but because the American market is flooded with blended, mislabeled, and over-aged product that bears little resemblance to what comes out of a Peloponnese grove in September. Sparta Gourmet Organic EVOO is the correction to that problem, in a 250ml bottle sized for exactly the moment you want to find out what you've been missing.
This is the same September 2025 harvest, the same cold-pressed Koroneiki olives, the same sub-0.3% acidity as our larger formats — just in a format that fits a gift, a weekend away, or a first order before you commit to the tin. Here's the longer story on why Greek olive oil is in a category of its own →
What You're Actually Tasting
Pour a small amount into a glass and warm it in your palm. What you'll notice first is the aroma — fresh-cut grass, a whisper of green tomato, something herbaceous that doesn't come from a bottle that's been sitting in a warehouse for two years. On the palate it's fruity and balanced, with the kind of peppery finish at the back of the throat that signals high polyphenol content. That finish is the point. It means the oil is doing what it's supposed to do.
USDA & EU Organic certified. Cold-extracted below 27°C. 100% Koroneiki, single-origin from Sparta. Less than 0.3% acidity — a number that matters more than most labels will tell you. Read our complete guide to understanding what's actually in your olive oil →
This oil is certified organic under EU Regulation 2018/848 by DIO – Inspection and Certification Organisation of Organic Products (Certificate No. GR-BIO-01.300-0018695.2026.001), valid 07/04/2026 – 06/04/2027, in addition to USDA Organic certification.
How to Use It Well
The 250ml bottle is best treated as a finishing oil — the bottle you keep on the table rather than next to the stove. Drizzle it over grilled fish, a bowl of lentils, roasted vegetables, or a simple plate of good bread and sea salt. It's also the right size for an olive oil and balsamic bread dip that will make guests ask where you found it. For everyday cooking volume, our 3L tin is the better value — but this is the bottle you'll reach for when it matters.
Store in a cool, dark place. Best within 18 months of harvest, and within 6 months of opening. Ships to all 50 states.
