How to use them together

Greek salad dressing — 3 parts EVOO, 1 part red wine vinegar, generous pinch of oregano crushed between your fingers. Nothing else needed.
Souvlaki marinade — EVOO, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt. The oregano carvacrol penetrates the meat; the EVOO seals it in.
Grilled fish — brush with EVOO before grilling, finish with a pinch of oregano and fresh lemon at the table.
Roasted vegetables — toss with EVOO and oregano before roasting. Potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, peppers.

Can I use the oregano with other oils?

Yes — but Greek oregano is particularly suited to high-quality EVOO. The carvacrol compounds interact with the polyphenols in premium olive oil in a way that amplifies both. A flat supermarket oil won't deliver the same result.

Is the 3L tin too much for one household?

A household that cooks 4-5 times a week will go through a 3L tin in 3-4 months — well within the 6-8 month open shelf life. If you cook less frequently, the 500ml Sparta Gourmet is the better fit.
